  • Traditional screening relies on self-reported information, experience, and human judgement. Motiview focuses on real behavioral engagement over time, providing an objective measure of motivation that CVs and interviews cannot capture.

  • Motivation strongly influences job satisfaction, performance, and well-being. When motivation is low, work often requires more energy and leads to less fulfillment, weaker connection with colleagues, and lower satisfaction.

  • The Motiview video assessment measures a candidate’s motivation for a specific role by analyzing behavioral signals over time. It focuses on how candidates engage, not on what they say on a CV or in an interview.

  • We analyze more than 200 facial data points during the video assessment. Each person has a unique behavioral baseline. Changes from that baseline reveal patterns that indicate motivation and engagement.

  • Yes. The methodology is researched together with Universities, is based on thousands of tests, analysis and participants, and has been published in several peer reviewed scientific papers. Our unique data allows us to measure motivation across the full range of human behavior.

  • Yes. Our technology is designed in accordance with applicable European regulations, including the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the EU AI Act.

    We only process objectively observable behavioural signals such as gaze direction, movement and interaction patterns. We do not process sensitive personal data, nor do we infer or classify emotions, mental states or intentions.

    All data processing is carried out in a transparent, proportionate and secure manner, with clear purpose limitation and appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, fully aligned with privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles. We do not store video footage. Analysis takes place in real time on objectively observable behavioural signals.

  • No. Motiview does not use facial recognition and does not process biometric data as defined under the GDPR.

    Motiview is not designed to identify individuals. The technology only analyzes aggregated signals of attention and engagement while viewing visual content.

    This means:

    • no unique facial features are stored

    • no identities are established

    • no biometric profiles are created

    This fundamentally distinguishes Motiview from systems that fall under biometric identification as defined by privacy regulations such as the GDPR.

  • No. Motiview does not analyze personality and does not make automated decisions about candidates.

    Motiview only measures context-specific motivation and engagement—for example, how someone responds to certain visual stimuli or information.

    This means:

    • no conclusions about personality or character

    • no predictions about future behavior

    • no automated hiring or rejection decisions

    Motiview provides supportive insights only, which are always interpreted by humans as part of a broader recruitment process.

  • Motiview analyzes behavioral signals using a standardized, scientific methodology. The analysis is independent of age, gender, and ethnicity. Every candidate is assessed in exactly the same way, without subjective interpretation or recruiter bias.
